What’s Included in Every Medical Transportation Booking
Every medical ride runs on the same standard — whether it’s a routine check-up at Kaiser Sunnyside or a surgery day transfer to OHSU Marquam Hill.

Door-to-Door, Entrance-to-Entrance
We deliver you to the patient entrance — not the visitor lot, not the parking garage. Your driver walks you to the door if needed and picks you up at the same entrance.
Wait Time Included
Book a round-trip with wait time and your driver stays in the lot. When you’re done, text your driver and they pull up to the entrance. No rebooking, no second fare.
Wheelchair-Accessible Vehicles
WAV vehicles with ramp entry and secure tie-downs available on every route at the same flat rate. Request at booking for guaranteed assignment.
Flat-Rate Pricing
Every medical ride is quoted flat before booking. No meter running while you’re in the waiting room, no surge pricing at 7 AM, no mileage surprise.
Patient-Trained Drivers
Our drivers assist with walkers, folding wheelchairs, portable oxygen, and door-to-vehicle transfers. They’re trained for patient comfort — not just navigation.
Medical Transportation Rates
All rates are one-way, private, door-to-door (1–2 passengers). Round-trip with wait time quoted at booking. Wheelchair-accessible vehicles at the same rate. Additional passengers: +$10/person.

Medical Transportation Services We Provide
One booking or a recurring schedule — we cover everything from a single specialist visit to three-times-weekly dialysis runs, all under one account with one coordinator.

Hospital & Specialist Appointments
Routine check-ups, specialist referrals, lab work, and imaging appointments at any Portland-area hospital or clinic. Door-to-entrance, flat rate, wait time available.
Surgery & Procedure Day Transfers
Most surgical facilities require a non-rideshare escort home after anesthesia. We deliver you to pre-op, stage during your procedure, and drive you home when discharge confirms — no app, no stranger.
Dialysis & Recurring Treatment Shuttles
Fixed-schedule dialysis transportation that runs on your treatment days. Same driver, same route, same time — your driver knows your facility entrance and your session length.
Physical Therapy & Rehabilitation Transport
Recurring PT rides to rehab clinics across Portland. We deliver you to the entrance, wait or return at your scheduled end time, and drive you home — every session, same driver.
Cancer Treatment & Chemotherapy Rides
Treatment-day transportation to OHSU Knight Cancer Institute, Providence Cancer Center, or Legacy cancer clinics. We stage during infusion sessions and return you home when you’re ready.
Hospital Discharge & Post-Procedure Returns
Discharge time confirmed by the hospital, your driver is staged at the patient entrance. No family member needs to take time off work — we deliver you home, entrance to front door.
How Your Medical Ride Works
This is where rideshare fails medical patients — post-anesthesia requirements, wheelchair needs, and wait times that don’t fit an app. Here’s how we handle it.

Step 1 — Book With Your Appointment Time, Facility & Return Needs
Tell us your appointment time, facility name, and whether you need a one-way or round-trip with wait. We confirm a flat quote, your driver’s name, and vehicle by text.
Step 2 — Your Driver Arrives at Your Door, Assists You to the Vehicle
Your driver arrives 15 minutes early, helps with walkers or folding wheelchairs, and drives you directly to the patient entrance — not the visitor lot.
Step 3 — Your Driver Stages or Returns at Your Scheduled End Time
For round-trips, your driver stages in the hospital lot. For longer appointments, we return at your scheduled end time. Text when you’re ready and the car pulls up.
Step 4 — Return Home — Entrance to Front Door, Assistance Included
Your driver picks you up at the facility entrance, assists you to the vehicle, and delivers you to your front door. Post-procedure patients get door assistance from vehicle to home.

Hospitals, Cancer Centers & Specialty Facilities We Serve Daily
We know the patient entrance, the drop-off lane, and the discharge exit at every major Portland medical facility. Your driver delivers you to the right door — not the wrong building on a sprawling campus.
OHSU Marquam Hill
Portland’s largest medical campus. We deliver to the correct entrance: Main Hospital on Sam Jackson Park Road, Kohler Pavilion for outpatient surgery, or Casey Eye Institute on SW Campus Drive.
OHSU Knight Cancer Institute
Oregon’s only NCI-designated comprehensive cancer center. Chemotherapy, radiation, and clinical trials. We stage during infusion sessions and return you home when treatment is complete.
Doernbecher Children’s Hospital
Pediatric specialist visits and outpatient procedures. We deliver families to the Doernbecher entrance on SW Campus Drive — separate from the main OHSU hospital entrance.
Providence Portland Medical Center
NE Portland’s major hospital. Patient drop-off at the main entrance on NE 47th. Outpatient clinics across campus have separate entrances — we route to the right one.
Legacy Emanuel Medical Center
Level I trauma center and Randall Children’s Hospital. We deliver to the main entrance on N Graham for appointments, procedures, and discharge returns.
Legacy Good Samaritan Medical Center
NW Portland hospital near the Pearl District. Patient entrance on NW 22nd — tight street staging our drivers handle daily.
Kaiser Permanente Sunnyside
Southeast metro’s largest Kaiser facility. Main entrance drop-off on SE Sunnyside Road. Recurring dialysis and PT patients get the same driver weekly.
VA Portland Health Care System
Veterans’ medical campus adjacent to OHSU. We deliver to the main VA entrance — separate from the OHSU hospital entrance on the same road.
Providence St. Vincent Medical Center
West-side’s largest hospital. Heart and cancer center referrals from across the metro. Patient entrance on NW Barnes Road, 20 minutes from downtown via US-26.
What Makes Medical Transportation Different From a Standard Ride
A medical ride isn’t a taxi to a building — it’s a service designed around patients who can’t drive, can’t walk far, or can’t navigate a rideshare app after anesthesia.

Post-Anesthesia Compliance
Most surgical facilities require a confirmed escort — not a rideshare — for post-anesthesia discharge. We provide confirmed, private transportation that meets facility discharge requirements.
Recurring Schedule Lock
Dialysis, chemo, and weekly PT riders see the same driver every session. Familiarity matters — your driver knows your entrance, your timing, and your needs.
Oxygen, Walkers & Medical Equipment Accommodated at No Extra Charge
Portable oxygen tanks, walkers, canes, folding wheelchairs, and medical bags all ride with you at no extra fee. Tell us at booking and the right vehicle is assigned.
Caregiver & Companion Rides
One companion or caregiver rides with you at the base rate (1–2 passengers). No per-person upcharge for the person who needs to be at your appointment.

Private Medical Ride vs. Rideshare vs. NEMT Brokerage — Which Fits Your Needs?
Three options exist for non-emergency medical transportation in Portland. One guarantees the same driver, wait time, and wheelchair access on every ride.
Rideshare After Surgery
Uber and Lyft don’t meet post-anesthesia discharge requirements at most Portland hospitals. There’s no wait-time option, no wheelchair guarantee, and no way to confirm the same driver for recurring treatments.
NEMT Brokerage (Ride to Care, OHP)
Oregon Health Plan members get free NEMT through Ride to Care. The tradeoff: 30-minute pickup windows, rotating drivers, and limited same-day availability. If you’re private-pay or need guaranteed timing, a private medical ride fills the gap.
Private Medical Transportation
You book a flat-rate ride, your same driver arrives 15 minutes early, stages during your appointment, and delivers you home entrance-to-door. No 30-minute window, no rotating strangers.
