What’s Included in Every Sightseeing Shuttle Booking
Every sightseeing tour runs on the same standard — whether it’s a 2-hour Portland city loop or a full-day Gorge and Mt. Hood expedition.

Your Stops, Your Pace
You decide how long to stay at each stop. 45 minutes at Multnomah Falls or 15 — your driver waits. No tour guide rushing you back to a bus full of strangers.
Door-to-Door From Your Portland Hotel, Airbnb, or Home
We pick you up at your exact address and return you to the same door. No meeting point at a downtown staging lot, no MAX ride to a park-and-ride.
Flat-Rate Day Pricing
Your tour is quoted flat for the day. Drive to 3 waterfalls or 6 — the rate doesn’t change. No per-mile charges on the Historic Columbia River Highway or the Mt. Hood loop.
Local Knowledge
Our drivers know which Gorge trailheads fill by 10 AM, which side of Haystack Rock catches sunset, and which Timberline parking lot avoids the ski crowd.
Photo Stops Built In
We build photo stops into every route — Crown Point Vista House, Rowena Crest overlook, Trillium Lake with Mt. Hood reflection. Tell us what you want to capture.
Sightseeing Tour
All tours are quoted flat for the day based on hours, vehicle, and pickup location. No per-mile charges between stops, no mileage overages on mountain or coast roads. Additional passengers: +$10/person.

Custom Private Tour
Silver Falls State Park, Painted Hills, Tillamook Creamery, Bonneville Dam, or anywhere else in Oregon — send us your wish list and we build the route. Flat day rate, no mileage limits.
How Your Sightseeing Tour
This is where rental cars and group bus tours both fail — you either drive unfamiliar mountain roads or follow a 40-person schedule with 15 minutes at each waterfall. Here’s how we run it.

Step 1 — Tell Us What You Want to See or Let Us Suggest the Route
Send us your must-see list or just tell us how many hours you have. ‘Half day, waterfalls’ or ‘full day, coast and Gorge’ — we build the route and quote flat.
Step 2 — Your Driver Picks You Up at Your Hotel or Airbnb Door
Black minivan or Sprinter at your Portland address. Your driver takes the scenic route — Historic Columbia River Highway, not I-84 — because the drive is part of the experience.
Step 3 — Multi-Stop Tour at Your Pace — Stay Longer, Skip, or Add Stops
At each stop, your driver parks and waits. Spend an hour hiking at Multnomah Falls or 20 minutes for photos. Heard about a waterfall you hadn’t planned? Your driver takes you there.
Step 4 — Lunch at a Local Spot, Then Home Before Dark
Lunch at Thunder Island Brewing in Cascade Locks, pFriem in Hood River, or Mo’s Seafood in Cannon Beach. After your last stop, your driver returns you door-to-door to Portland.

Top Sightseeing Stops
These are the stops our passengers book most. We’ve driven to each one hundreds of times — here’s what to expect and where your driver will be waiting.
Crown Point Vista House
The first stop on every Gorge tour. 180° panorama of the Columbia River Gorge from a restored 1917 observatory. Your driver parks in the Vista House lot — 10–20 minutes for photos.
Latourell Falls
The most accessible Gorge waterfall — visible from the parking lot, 2-minute walk to the base. A perfect first waterfall stop before Multnomah Falls.
Multnomah Falls & Benson Bridge
Oregon’s signature waterfall. Walk the Benson Bridge for the classic shot or hike 1.2 miles to the top. Your driver stages in the Multnomah Falls lot on the Historic Highway.
Timberline Lodge
The iconic 1937 WPA lodge used in The Shining’s exterior shots. Explore the handcrafted interior, lunch at the Ram’s Head Bar, and see the Palmer Glacier. Your driver stages in the east lot.
Trillium Lake
The postcard photo of Mt. Hood reflected in still water. 1-mile flat loop trail around the lake. Best in early morning or late afternoon for the reflection. Your driver waits at the trailhead lot.
Haystack Rock
235-foot sea stack with tide pools at low tide and tufted puffins nesting in spring. Walk from the main Cannon Beach parking area. Your driver stages on Hemlock Street.
Ecola State Park
Dramatic headland views looking south to Haystack Rock and north to Tillamook Head. The viewpoint from the main parking area is one of Oregon’s most photographed coastal scenes.
Astoria Column
Climb 164 spiral steps for a panorama of the Columbia River mouth, the Pacific, and the Coast Range. Your driver stages in the Coxcomb Hill lot.
Pittock Mansion
1914 estate with Portland’s best panoramic view — downtown skyline, Mt. Hood, Mt. St. Helens, Mt. Adams, Mt. Rainier on clear days. Your driver stages in the mansion parking area.
Portland Japanese Garden
One of the most authentic Japanese gardens outside Japan. Cultural village, eight garden styles, and Mt. Hood framed through the Tea Garden gate. We handle the Washington Park drive and lot.

What Makes a Private Sightseeing Shuttle Different From a Tour Bus
A private shuttle isn’t a guided tour — it’s your own driver with local knowledge and no schedule but yours. Here’s what that means.

No 15-Minute Photo Stops
Tour buses give you 15 minutes at Multnomah Falls and blow an air horn when time’s up. We give you as long as you want — hike to the top, eat lunch at the lodge, your call.
Trailhead Timing
Multnomah Falls fills by 10 AM in summer. We start your tour early enough to beat the bus groups and experience the falls without 200 people on Benson Bridge.
Combine Regions in One Day
Tour buses do one route. We combine regions — waterfalls in the morning, Timberline Lodge for lunch, Portland by sunset. One flat rate, no per-leg pricing.
Accessible to All
WAV vehicles with ramp entry for mobility-limited travelers. Car seats for families with infants. Everyone sees Oregon’s landmarks, not just people who can hike.

Private Sightseeing Shuttle vs. Group Tour Bus vs. Rental Car — Which Fits Your Trip?
Three ways to see Oregon from Portland. One lets you skip the crowds, stay at your pace, and combine regions in a single day.
Group Tour Bus
A bus with 40 people hits 3 stops on a fixed schedule. You get 15 minutes at Multnomah Falls, no time at the smaller waterfalls, and a microphone narrator reading facts you could Google. The bus leaves when the bus leaves — not when you’re ready.
Rental Car
You navigate the Historic Columbia River Highway for the first time, miss the Crown Point turnoff, fight for a parking spot at Multnomah Falls, and drive 3 hours back to Portland on I-84 after a full day. You see Oregon, but you don’t enjoy it.
Private Sightseeing Shuttle
Your driver picks you up at your hotel, takes the scenic route, stages at every stop, and brings you home door-to-door. You spend the day with your camera out, not your hands on a steering wheel.
